Locally operated and headquartered in the downtown Baltimore Tide Point Campus, DataPoint delivers superior personalized customer care, rapid response times, 24/7 onsite support, and customized Internet access and data center solutions. Owned by Continental Broadband, a large private company, DataPoint has both the resources and the long-term growth perspective to continue to expand its product offering and regional footprint – all with an eye towards delighting our current and future customers.

While many other regional providers have come and gone, DataPoint has consistently delivered high quality, dependable service to its customers for nearly 20 years. Founded as Toad Computers in 1986 and transformed into ToadNet in 1995 the company was created with the goal of providing fast and reliable Internet services to business and residential customers throughout the Baltimore-Washington region – a welcome alternative to the big national incumbent providers. Since then, ToadNet has undergone rapid growth and remains among the largest privately owned Internet providers in Maryland (source: Baltimore Business Journal). In 2004, ToadNet was sold to a large, private ISP called Continental Broadband. And in 2005, the company renewed its commitment to serving the local business marketplace by relocating its headquarters to downtown Baltimore, upgrading its data center facilities, expanding its product offering, and re-branding itself as DataPoint.

Today, DataPoint is a leading local provider of broadband and managed services for businesses, dedicated to providing secure, fast and reliable connectivity with superior local service 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
